So to St Mary’s I came, t’was 1971 & boy did we have fun!!
We had Pythagoras Theorem, hors d’oeuvres, diphthong to name but one, but boy did we have fun!!
Ita was our saviour she was the one, she taught us about Pope & Donne but boy did we have fun!!!
We threaded the boards with Oscar, what a run, boy did we have fun!!
There were words like portmanteau, hurry on, get your work done, boy did we have fun!!
The Lady in the Cape, she was the one, she could not be overcome, she was the ruler, she could not be outdone, she loved her job, she was always on the run, her cloak flew, this formidable character, boy she was the one!!!
Just when we thought she was done, she donned the Crown & became the one, to conquer all in the “Kingdom”. Well done!!!
